Russ

Greetings,

I am the editor of the Princeton Economics blog site. I have changed wording on my site to more accurately reflect what Martin Armstrong said about now. He said in effect that everything would rise up into 2007 -including the stockmarkets, housing and especially hard assetts like commodities. The fact that the hard assets peaked last spring (gold copper etc) shows that capital flows are currently focused on the stock markets world-wide and after this panic sell-off is finished it is likely that they will continue up and commodities should resume their bull market for the next major leg up - $100+ a barrel oil and Gold well over $2000 - even 3 or $4000 according to some estimates.

If you believe Timer's Digest top market timer Don Wolanchuk we will be entering into some kind of grand 3rd wave supercycle that is going to take the Dow to 20,000 in the coming years, gold and commodities should keep moving up too.

My concern here is housing - if it keeps breaking down as my own work is suggesting I am not sure how the stock market will stay strong, nonetheless the next major trough for the economy should be Martin's 2011 date. I think it possible that gold and commodities will go up into 2009, which would then lead to the 2011.45 trough, just as the year 2000 was the peak in the markets and led to the low a couple of years later. It is going to be a wild ride.

There is also a sister blog MarketVisions which is similar to the first one for now. Martin's trial is on March 15 -we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Rodolpho

What is he on trial for?

Russ

He is on trial for mishandling Japanese investment funds and misleading new investors about losses in the accounts. He pled guitly to that after they put him in the hole (on hard concrete I think) for several days without sleep. They tortured him essentially.

Russ has the only blog (Princetone Economics) dedicated to Martin Armstrong's plight and it's well worth taking a look. On it, Martin's son makes a heartfelt plea for everyone's help and I think it's worth the time to act on his behalf. Martin's work is too important to kept locked up in prison.

Been a Marty Armstrong fan since 1987 when he got the 67 crash right to the day

gemma mcintyre

can you please post whats happening with Martin now.what does he think of world events now, hedge funds, the fed , gold, the housing crises, Iam australian and find it disconcerting to witness whole communities in decay, its all happening in australia now > I personally have nothing to loose, and now I now how the slices of the phy works in the economy , I could jump on the band wagon, but I find it all reeks of a decaying of values and our so called civilised society; and ultimatly we may all loose our home......

gemma mcintyre

oh: also,, Has anyone noticed that these cycles are very closely related to the cycles of venus.. and when the angles are drawn on paper of its path it creates THE shape of the so called star of David UMMMM

gemma mcintyre

please could you post what is happening to martin armstrong now , and what does he thinks, now about world events, hedge funds, the fed. I am Australian and I find it really disconcerting to see whole communities lying dormant, in the u.s.a. and its happening now here as I write. This is CRIMinal in the extreme and those responsible should be taken to task< perhaps tried for treason and sent to the gallows.I personally am not effected, thank god I don:t have anything much to loose, no doubt I "ll pay more for my basics NEEDs as we spiral into this particular part of the pY ,,,,,,, now I know about the py band wagon . I could jump abroad , but I think though it may increase my spending power, it all reeks of decaying values , social destruction, and ultimatley we may all lose our home.....

I admire Martin Armstrong's Knowledge of cycles
and his brilliant mind. What a scholar. Hope and
pray he is released soon.

Gregg

I think we should all do (all that we can) to have Martin Armstrong Released.
FYI: I wrote a thesis that arrived at much the same (similar) data, only using different formulas and different methods. Particularly the portions on "pi" (Most documented & filed with my SEC attorneys). Q? Perhaps this provided as "Proof of concept" & further evidence may aid in his release? Who knows. --but let's at least try. I'll write more on this and contact his family and the attorneys as well. Martin Armstrong, in his brilliance and foresight, deserves release at the best, a fair trail at the least and to be heard throughout the investment community as a "Fair and decent" man who worked hard, diligently and in the best interest of all humanity.
...more will follow.

I'm more interested in the political side of the market. Please forgive me, are you saying that beginning on April 23rd the market will begin a steep decline to a predicted low or just a low on 2011.46??? Or, is the low on 2011.46 a low which is not predictable??

In addition, what does the .46 (2011.46) mean?

thanks

C'mon Gregg. Use a little bit of your brain power. Try multiplying .46 by 365 to get your answer. Sheesh....

Ewave is a great mystery to me. I can't pinpoint a certain time/date on the chart, nor the market value.

As gemma mcintyre wrote "RECORD HIGHS IN DOW DJT AND SP BY... 1/20/2009 WE HAVE BEGUN THE NEXT BULL CYCLE PHASE IN STOCKS AND THE DEFLATION IN COMMODITES". A record high, but start a new bull cycle? :-)

We just went through a pseudo crash and the market is still on the downhill slide, with the recent dead cat bounce that about to come to an end. What is this gibberish about the bull cycle?

I would like to learn Ewave and understand how it is constructed and analyzed, but these hilarious predictions really put it to the back burner.

Tomorrow's the big day . . .

Two days ago was the big day.

9/23/09 ... Did I sleep right through it????

Sean

Looks like it might be here now, No?

See what the rest of the week brings.

TM

Like the last turning point on Feb. 27, 2007, add 8.6 months as MA mentions in his 10/08 article. That puts the final top of this cycle at January 7, 2010.
